There is a targeting commitment between miR-375 and FZD4, and administration with TGF-β/Smads agonist resulted in enhanced miR-375 and Smad2 expressions, as well as diminished TGF-β, Smad7, p-Smad2, FZD4 protein expression, therefore the number of S phase and G2/M phase cells (P less then 0.05). The signaling inhibitor oppositely suppressed cell proliferation lowering miR-375 appearance.
